Week 3! Oh wow, as if I am OVER half way through my Reinvent for Lent! 😱😱
I take it all back. Everything I said about New Beginnings not challenging me enough.. This week was TOUGH!
I’ve tried my best and I gave it everything and I’m improving everyday! One of our male trainers Liam absolutely KILLED my legs at the start for the week. Him and his 360 workouts and his 100 different types of squat… I’m sweating just reflecting back 😅
With all that being said, it was really good and I really have LOVED this week!
Laura set me the task of showing you all how to use our OnDemand plan, so with me doing OnDemand videos as well as the hardest week I have had on New Beginnings, you can only imagine how much I am aching still.
And then… the lovely Lisa, our specialist Pilates trainer, invited me to do a little workout with her that she was filming for a future OnDemand video. Of course, she played it down to be just a 10/15 minute workout. 25 minutes later of planking, crunching, mountain climbers, can-cans, high knees - you can only imagine the state I was in after!
She is amazing though and besides having Cecilia cackling behind the camera at me (Thanks boss! 😂) I really pushed myself and gave it everything! So, thank you Lisa… You weren’t my friend at the time but now you are! 😘
Another thing that I achieved this week was to make a frittata! My close friends will tell you that you should never allow me in the kitchen. My cooking skills are pretty much zilch! So, after a few hours coaching and cooking tips from Laura in the office, I headed off home, with a tonne of yummy veg and a dozen eggs to make myself a frittata! And I tell you what, I’m a flippin’ good cook if I do say so myself!
I even bought some into the office for my cooking teacher Laura to try… And she not only enjoyed it, but I didn’t poison her! Winning! 🙌
This week, I’ve been the most positive I’ve been in months… And I honestly think it’s down to living a much healthier and happier lifestyle! My relationship with food is healthy and balanced, my love for working out has increased, which was a big battle in itself so I know changes are happening!
