This was the perfect plan for me because I work away a lot and also I just didn't have the confidence to join a gym. I had always been fairly active as I used to dance and always had personal trainers in the past but this was completely different! Every other night when I came home from work or in my hotel room, I would turn on my laptop, click play and workout. I am not going to lie, it was tough but very, very motivating at the same time. I was so big, I couldn't do certain moves but at least I was moving and trying. In the first few weeks my body was aching so much but it was a good feeling knowing that I had pushed myself. As each week came to an end, I was pushing myself more and more and was getting fitter and stronger. After the first 3 weeks, the swelling I'd always had in my knees from carrying the excess weight completely went!
What piece of advice would you give to someone?
I say, it is the only thing that has ever helped me long-term and wanted to stick at. I was contemplating surgery and I would say, try RWL before you do that, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I think that is mainly down to the amazing community at RWL which is on hand 24/7! Whether that’s FB, IG or twitter, people are always supporting you, you get different meal ideas, people are always on the same plans so you can do them together and basically just enjoy it! Each plan pushes you so you will never get bored!
