Intermittent fasting 16/8

16/8 intermittent fasting involves eating only during an eight-hour window during the day and fasting for the remaining 16 hours. 

Many people prefer to eat between 12pm and 8pm, as this means you only need to fast overnight and breakfast but can still eat lunch and dinner.

Others prefer to eat between 9am and 5pm, which allows a breakfast around 9am, lunch around noon and a light early dinner or snack around 4pm. 

However, this is personal preference so pick the right times for you.

This way of eating can be combined with other diet styles to match your likes and dislikes.  For example, you could follow the 16:8 principle whilst following a vegan diet or you could follow the principle whilst following a keto diet.
