A low-carb diet is low in carbohydrates, primarily found in foods such as pasta, beans and bread. Instead, you eat foods which include protein and natural fats. Your carbohydrates on this diet style will come in the form of vegetables and some fruits. You are aiming for around 30-50 grams of carbohydrates per day. However, by reducing the carbohydrates in your diet (and therefore your calories) you will see results without having to count each gram.
