  • 300g walnut pieces
  • 150g sunflower seeds
  • 150g desiccated coconut
  • 10-12 dates (pitted) diced
  • 110g dark organic cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp natural peppermint oil or vanilla essence immersed in 2 tbsp of water

Cooking Directions

  1. In a food processor; combine walnuts, seeds, dates and coconut.
  2. Then, add cocoa and peppermint or vanilla water and process again into a paste. The consistency should hold together when squeezed.

  3. Make into 15-20 balls by rolling 1 -2 tsp mix in the palm of your hand, squishing together initially to make the mix hold together.

  4. Optional to roll the balls in coconut before placing on baking paper to set in the fridge.

  5. Set for a minimum of 30mins but from experience, we can confirm these are best left over night to let the flavours and the sweetness of the dates all set in.
