- Your choice of green vegetables (we suggest 2 portions per person. 1 portion is a medium handful)
- Choose your desired vegetables, chop or slice and place in a steamer basket (generally stainless steel is better than plastic) over a pot of boiling water.
Cover and steam cook for 7-15mins depending on the veg chosen and your liking.
Generally, broccoli will take 10mins, courgettes 10mins, spinach and asparagus 6-7 mins and leeks, 15mins. Cauliflower and root vegetables can take up to 20mins e.g. swede etc.
