Ingredients

  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 head of gem lettuce (chopped)
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1 apple (cored, peeled and chopped up)
  • 1 pear (cored, peeled and chopped up; If you have a super charged, powerful blender, it's not necessary to peel these fruits).
  • 1 banana
  • Juice of 1/2 an organic lemon

Cooking Directions

  1. Add the water, lettuce and spinach to the blender.
  2. Start the blender on a low speed and mix until smooth.

  3. Gradually change blender to a higher speed; add the celery, apple, pear and then the banana.

  4. Finally, add the lemon juice.
