Venison Burger with Sweet Potato Wedges

  • 6 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 5cm of Cucumber
  • 50g of Mixed Salad Leaves
  • 10ml of Cholula Chipotle Chilli Hot Sauce
  • 220g of Sweet Potato Oven Chips (omit if following 30 Day Get Lean diet and add in green salad instead)
  • 10ml of Virgin Olive Oil
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1x Venison Burger

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C, gas mark 6.
  2. Halve the cherry tomatoes, dice the cucumber and toss together with the salad leaves and chipotle hot sauce. Set aside in the fridge.

  3. Toss the sweet potato oven chips in the olive oil and add freshly ground black pepper to taste, then place on a non-stick baking tray and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes (or as instructed on the packet), turning halfway through.

  4. Sear the burger for 2-3 minutes on each side in a hot, dry pan or on a griddle. When cooked through, serve with the chipotle chilli salad and sweet potato wedges.
